So I had a splendid bday evening at The Meadows in Brooklyn seeing Coroner, with Deceased opening up. Fairly small place but a packed house, and a mixed crowd age wise. Not all geezers like us! Deceased was meat and potatoes death metal and we loved it. Coroner was amazing—what a great band. Tommy ripped it up on guitar. Up close you can see how he plays so fluidly—his fingers barely move off the fretboard. Not a wasted movement. I strongly recommend you see them if they come to a town near you.

That looks like a nice and cozy metal evening, and great to hear that Coroner has fans born in two different centuries! They didn't make it to my neck of...
